With a significant increase in attendance and essential networking, the 5th ShipIT Conference took place on Thursday, September 26, 2019. The conference organized by BOUSSIAS in collaboration with AMMITEC at the Benaki Museum Amphitheater.
The 5th event effectively confirmed the conference as an institution in the field of maritime technology and was attended by 300 executives from its wider area.
This year was also exceptional and of great importance as the Minister of Maritime and Insular Policy, Ioannis Plakiotakis joined the Seminar and referred to the framework and regulations that should be put in place to increase the efficiency and competitiveness of Greek Shipping Industry. A particular emphasis was especially given to issues such education, modernization and ports.
